month (ehm) we honour an individual with
a grotesque, eccentric, odd or bizarre appearance as freak
of the month.
In
a society of uniformity, freak
of the month acknowledges the courage
to appear beyond regular conventions and presents unusual people
satirically to
enhance the audience's individuality and self realization.

Dr. Nostril sucks...How did this person make it on the frontpage of the freak competition? Is it cos he´s just anofa weirdo in southeastlondon.org´s sothermucking photo archive, or did Dr. Nostril brain-fock the Chief Ed Itter too well? No, all wrong, Dr. Nostril´s been awarded Freak of da Month 10/06 for his courage to sneak around the CV Photo Maphia. "Who the hell am I to pay 8 quid for 4 stupid looking CV photos?". So Dr. Nostril knows he can do a better job. The picture beneath catapulted him straight into a leading position of Moron International Corporation. Yearly pay rice included. "Don´t be adjusted to the establishment. Be encouraged to go your own way.", so Dr. Nostril during our exclusive interview. Pays off: Freak of the month! |

April 2006  Irish Rob |
Freak of the month in April is Irish Rob. Nominated for taking part in the Fit For Fun race in Upper Telegraph Hill/Brockley on 19.3. Not only managed Rob to go (nearly) the whole distance over 5 rounds while wearing tie and gasmask. Rob also entertained the regular Sunday park crowd with his bizarre jogging gear and should be a hot candidate for the next Fit For Fun race on 16. April. Honoured for his entertaining courage to shake off conventional appearance, and to break common expectations regardless of the public's reaction. |

pictured left). Awarded for balancing a virtual face paint on his
nose while playing the drum (not pictured) and reciting
