Chris, Bateria and Irish Rob could not stop the Spider
Despised by his critics, he once said, that he would never return, but now... the spider is back! On Sunday the Spider won the 5 round race in Upper Telegraph Hill Park in front of around 100 park visitors. By beautiful sunshine, an international field of runners from at least 4 countries was at the start. The race started fast with Bateria ahead (pictured at warmup with Foster's nutrition), followed by Irish Rob (with tie and gas mask), Chris (golden hair) and the Spider (sponsored by southeastlondon.org). The spider overtook in round 2 and kept the lead to the finish line in round 5....
